Winger Oriol Ripol and centre John Payne made their Sharks' debuts against London Irish at the Madejski stadium in their side's 9-6 win.
Ripol was on from the start, and Payne replaced Jos Baxendell with 35 minutes of the second half gone. With a large amount of 'added' time played, the Tongan was on the pitch for double figures.
